Supporting the Special Olympics Program in Our Community

At SCFOP Lodge 12, we are dedicated to supporting those in need, and each year we proudly participate in events benefiting the Special Olympics Program in our area. Our commitment extends to raising funds and awareness through the South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics, which brings together officers from law enforcement agencies and corrections departments across the state.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run® is a key initiative uniting officers statewide to support Special Olympics South Carolina. This effort includes unique fundraising events such as rooftop sits, polar plunges, and other outreach activities to raise crucial funds and awareness.

SCFOP Lodge 12 is honored to contribute to the success of the Special Olympics in South Carolina each year, supporting its vision to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities through lifelong and unified sports programs.

Empowering Special Olympics Athletes

The Special Olympics Program benefits many individuals in our community by celebrating sportsmanship and teamwork. It reinforces the message that law enforcement officers are dedicated to serving and protecting everyone with kindness and respect. Local events like the Horry County Special Olympics Spring Games at Socastee High School allow special needs children to compete and thrive.
