Updates on Top Legislative Priorities
At the Coastal Carolina Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12 (SCFOP12), we actively engage with local government to address the concerns of law enforcement officers. Our lodge, in conjunction with the main SCFOP and other state lodges, advocates for fair salaries, benefits, and job safety for officers when key decisions are made by city council members and county administrators. Although the FOP is not a union, it serves as a powerful collective voice for law enforcement professionals. The SCFOP employs two full-time lobbyists in Columbia to ensure that the interests of law enforcement are well-represented at the state level.
